What You Do

Direct Bill:

  • Download all carrier commission statements and match them to the cash receipts for processing.
  • Upload all commission statements to Comulate to bill to appropriate policies in Epic.
  • Reconcile all Triage items in Comulate or note problems for Director of Accounting to review.
  • Communicate with internal and external accounting contacts to resolve direct bill statement discrepancies or problems.
  • Follow up with carrier contacts on missing commission statements.
  • Coordinate direct bill return commission payments with Financial Analysts.
  • Review revenue variances monthly and work with internal staff or carrier contacts to resolve commission discrepancies.
  • Work with internal producers and staff on commission questions.
  • Work with Director of Accounting on direct bill projects and process efficiency.

Deposits:

  • Enter all cash receipts into Epic and code to the proper carrier and/or GL code.
  • Enter Lockbox receipts into Epic daily.
  • Review and finalize all Epay deposits daily.
  • Add activities for any unapplied cash for Billing Team to research.

Company Payables:

  • Backup for company payables.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete projects or spreadsheets as needed.

Your Education and Experience

Required

  • A college degree or two years at a college or junior college with a major in accounting is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Agency experience preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $34,600 to $60,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
