A day in the life.

As our Learning and Development Leader on the Private Client Services National Region team, youll collaborate closely with the HR Leader to develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the business needs. This position is responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of learning priorities across the organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and will oversee a small team of learning specialists, ensuring the delivery of impactful programs that enhance both human and technical skills. In the role, you will:

  • Partner with the HR Leader to create and refine a holistic learning and development strategy that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities within the personal insurance sector.

  • Design, implement, and manage a range of learning programs, including managerial and leadership development

  • Supervise and mentor a small team of learning specialists, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.

  • Actively participate in the broader learning community across the firm, sharing best practices, resources, and insights to enhance overall learning initiatives.

Our future colleague

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Ability to translate business priorities into a comprehensive learning strategy

  • Insurance experience with an insurance carrier or broker; high net worth experience and P&C licensed are a plus

  • Proven ability to work across all levels of an organization, including internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various learning modalities

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • P&C Licensed

  • L&D experience with personal lines or private client insurance

  • Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications

The applicable base salary range for this role is $109,400 to $191,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
