Netflix

Los Angeles, CAUS

Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Role

We are at a very exciting stage of evolution at Netflix. With the growth in employee population, lines of business, geo-diversity, and heterogeneity of the workforce, it is imperative that the Talent function evolves accordingly, to shape and support this progress.

About Talent Experience Operations:

The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team is primarily responsible for developing the Talent ecosystem. The broad composition of the team includes Lifecycle operations (all workflows across the candidate, employee and contingent talent journey), Data and Analytics, Technology strategy, and Global Programs like Benefits, Mobility, Employee Health, Accessibility, etc.

About Netflix House:

Netflix House is our permanent, always-on entertainment venue, where guests can step into their favorite stories and have IRL experiences, with the ultimate goal of increasing fandom for our members.  We want these experiences, along with merchandise offerings, to help promote our titles and build them into title brands so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time and drive long-term value.

The Role:

We are seeking a strategic, user-centric leader to design the talent systems and workflows for Netflix House - ultimately supporting the launch of the first two Netflix Houses as well as overseeing the steady-state operational growth of multiple Netflix House locations. In addition, you’ll sit on our Talent Experience Operations leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the Netflix House business and organizational context, and help shape the multi-year vision and roadmap for Talent operations in alignment with the broader Talent/TEO strategy.

  • Design and implement talent systems and workflows to support both on-site salaried and hourly employees, ensuring their operational needs are met efficiently and effectively.

  • Lead the execution of talent experience operations projects that involve multiple workflows and cross-functional teams within the retail environment.

  • Go beyond your domain expertise and establish yourself as an organizational leader, who is additive to our culture and an invaluable member of this community.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in talent operations design and delivery in the retail sector.

  • International retail experience in talent operations design and delivery is a plus, but not required.

  • A strong systems thinker with the ability to prioritize effectively and build sustainable solutions from the ground up.

  • Experience in enhancing user experience and operational effectiveness through user-centered design thinking, automation, offshoring, outsourcing, etc.

  • Strong business acumen; skilled at operating in a complex, cross-functional, geo-distributed organization where collaboration and integration with other teams across various disciplines are essential.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, across different cross-functional teams and multiple levels of seniority.

  • Ability to synthesize data into useful insights and drive resulting actions.

This role is possible for remote, however it is preferred to be in Los Gatos, CA or Los Angeles, CA.
