Community Strategist - Human Services 2 Locations

Are you passionate about transforming healthcare and building powerful partnerships? Netsmart is looking for a dynamic Client Health and Growth Strategist to join our innovative team! In this role, you will be responsible for driving client health and growth strategies through proactive collaboration with relationship owners of existing and prospective clients, as well as Business Unit leaders. The Community Strategist helps shape our strategic vision amid constant industry changes, providing insights and thought leadership to both internal stakeholders and external clients. This position requires translating client needs into actionable solutions by improving workflows within the Care Record, with a goal of enhancing client engagement and addressing operational challenges. Key to success will be fostering deeper client relationships and identifying growth opportunities through continuous engagement and workflow innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with specific clients to develop and grow our partnership through executive relationship development, strategic planning, and demonstrating industry leadership. 

  • Understands key market dynamics that are influencing our clients strategies, including major regulatory and funding programs or changes, such as the CCBHC program.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure our solutions are aligned to industry and client needs.

  • Participate in or lead initiatives that enhance Netsmart’s approach, processes, and tools for developing and maintaining strong, healthy partnerships with our clients. 

  • Lead or support health improvement initiatives for specific clients which may include leading cross-functional efforts to resolve specific needs or issues. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Behavioral Health topics in client facing settings, such as client webinars, conference presentations, or user group sessions. 

  • Communicate confidently Netsmarts overall guiding principles and strategic imperatives, solution offerings, technology, and consulting services and how they relate to provide total client value. 

  • Cultivate relationships that include C-Level client leaders to ensure the health and growth of client relationships. 

  • Collaborate across sales, professional services, hosting and operations teams to bring the right resources to the client alignment effort 

  • Proactively identify trends that impact client health, develop strategies to address, and communicate back to internal and external stakeholders 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 5 years’ health and human services work experience 

  • At least 3 years’ experience with EMR or healthcare technology services and solutions 

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience leveraging service-delivery for long-term clients 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding relationship building skills. 

  • Capable of developing and delivering content/presentations to drive thought leadership, solution value, or other relevant content 

  • Proactive in nature, opting to take charge rather than waiting for prompting 

  • Capable of managing multiple projects, across multiple clients at once 

Preferred

  • At least 3 years’ experience with behavioral health or post-acute industry groups 

  • Salesforce CRM experience 

  • Experience in making regulatory requirements consumable for clients and associates 

Expectations

  • Up to 40% travel

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
