The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,100.00 in our lowest geographic market to $154,900.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidates location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be working within a team of highly-talented, QA engineers, reporting to the QA Engineering Manager of SNKRS. We support the development teams for our iOS and Android SNKRS apps, as well as SNKRS Web, and backend services, as well as our in-house design, product management, and program teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate should be self-motivated, eager to learn, and excited help to create the best possible experience for our Nike SNKRS users. The ability to successfully communicate through Slack, and Zoom are incredibly important as the working team is spread across the US. A quick learner who can pick up new technologies, ways of testing, and the numerous content management systems that are used in the Nike eco-system.

  • The majority of the team is located in NYC, this role can be remote
  • 2-3 years of experience working in software QA or other technology-related work
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role is for the majority manual-testing, writing test cases, assisting with creating new features, maintaining existing features, and regular regression testing of our web and mobile platforms.

  • Working closely with developers from our iOS, android, web & back end services teams, our product managers, designers, and program managers
  • You will be writing test cases for new features we are producing
  • Testing new work coming from the development teams to ensure happy and unhappy paths, as well as edge cases are accounted for
  • Regular testing of existing features to ensure functionality continues to work at the highest level
  • Attending meetings with cross-functional partners to discuss priorities of bugs
  • Assist engineers in debugging issues that have arisen, obtaining screen recordings, logs, and other helpful information
