NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. The world of computing is constantly evolving, and we believe that data scientists and engineers should be able to seamlessly accelerate their applications and workflows.

RAPIDS, the open-source suite of accelerated data processing libraries and primitives, brings accelerated computing to the analytics world by combining the performance of NVIDIA GPUs with the ease of use of Python, Apache Spark, and modern C++ APIs. Today, Python is the world’s most popular programming language. It’s used for science, engineering, data analytics, deep learning, and more. We’re looking for an outstanding Technical Program Manager to help drive the adoption of RAPIDS in the PyData ecosystem. As a RAPIDS Program Manager, you’ll help define and manage our work to bring the future of accelerated computing to this large and growing community.

What youll be doing:

  • Define, lead, and track overall programs to bring accelerated data processing to data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and ISVs everywhere.

  • Coordinate efforts with collaborators across product, engineering, marketing, developer relations, sales, and others, making sure the program workstreams are coherently moving in the same direction and making progress.

  • Define and lead clear, unambiguous communications processes to minimize confusion and ensure everyone is coordinated. Lead standups and other meetings with a mixture of collaborators both technical and non-technical.

  • Drive various go-to-market workstreams, including:

  • Tracking our speaking efforts at conferences, meetups, and similar events, ensuring that we have a plan, speakers, and content ready

  • Work with our marketing team to manage our content pipeline, ensuring we have relevant, high quality content across a variety of channels

  • Track customers using our products, ensuring we understand who they are, how they are using it, and helping our product team gather and action feedback

  • Assist in building critical metrics to measure program health, predictability, and achievements.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of professional experience in project/program management in the field of software development, demonstrating increasing responsibility and leadership.

  • Experience with and knowledge of PyData tools, such as pandas, Polars, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, etc.

  • Able to work on multiple complex & company critical projects effectively with a team of engineers, marketing leaders, and other teammates in a dynamic and innovative environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to tailor your message to different levels of management.

  • Ability to work independently, take-charge, and influence without waiting for direction.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Data science, data engineering, AI/ML, or programming (Python, c++) experience, or other related technical background or degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

  • Project Management Professional Certification a plus.

  • Passion for open source software and the PyData ecosystem.

  • Be able to demonstrate initiative and determination in getting things done.

  • Previous work coordinating with marketing, developer relations, developer advocates, or similar teams; or experience managing or participating in a developer-focused go-to-market program.
