About the Role
As the Recruiting Manager for our Go To Market and Sales functions, you will lead a team of recruiters and sourcers responsible for driving hiring across Sales, Technical Success, Marketing, GTM roles and more across North America, EMEA, and APAC. You will play a critical role in ensuring OpenAI attracts, assesses, and hires top-tier talent to drive our growth and impact across regions. This role reports to our Head of Business and Go To Market recruiting.

What You’ll Do:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of GTM recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Collaborate with GTM leaders, HR Business Partners, and senior leadership to align hiring strategies with organizational priorities globally.
Implement and optimize scalable recruiting processes to achieve quarterly and annual hiring targets.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the recruitment process to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and demonstrate hiring effectiveness.
Manage a limited number of high-impact requisitions, focusing on strategic GTM leadership hires.

How to Be Successful in This Role:

8+ years of business recruiting experience with at least 3+ years in a people management role.
Proven experience in both startup and large-scale environments.
Expertise in global GTM recruiting, with experience across multiple regions.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics to improve recruiting strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Location and Workplace

This role is based in our San Francisco, CA office and we offer relocation assistance to new employees. We chose this location due to proximity to our primary business leaders and staff and in-person culture of our sales teams.

Our offices use a hybrid work model: three days in the office per week with optional work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. Our open-plan offices have height-adjustable desks, conference rooms, phone booths, well-stocked kitchens full of snacks and drinks and more.
