We are seeking an experienced Materials Program Manager to join Ouras Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for executing materials planning processes and ensuring effective communication within our global Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and excellent analytical skills. The Materials Program Manager will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain operations, working closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, and internal teams to bring our product vision to life.
What you will do:
Materials Planning and Execution
- Manage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process with suppliers and CMs, providing visibility to supply availability, inventory levels, and risk assessments and mitigation
- Utilize materials and supply chain data to recommend and inform supply chain strategies
- Develop material strategies to optimize material availability and minimize E&O
- Manage allocation strategies for constrained materials across factories and programs
- Analyze and recommend actions for excess and obsolete inventory situations
- Monitor and manage key supply chain data and metrics
Collaboration and Process Implementation
- Lead weekly materials reviews, preparing and presenting updates on material status, risks, and mitigation plans
- Work with CMs and suppliers to track and project material availability and resolve materials-related issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain readiness for NPI programs
- Be a voice of supply chain to influence program decisions and supply chain strategies
- Support the implementation and utilization of supply chain systems for WIP and component tracking and inventory planning
- Work with Supply Chain teams to influence and execute supply chain strategies, and improve operational efficiency
This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates located in the EST or CST time zone.
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 4+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain Materials Planning role, or Supply Planning role, or a related field
- Experience working in consumer electronics and/or hardware companies
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
- Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to establish and improve processes in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; expertise working with large datasets
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with MRP and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Willingness to travel two to three times per quarter internationally and domestically
