Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. Weve helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations. This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco, San Diego, or Boston.
We are looking for a Research Scientist to join the Oura Science Clinical Research Team. Our mission is to drive scientific innovation by designing and executing rigorous clinical research studies, analyzing complex biobehavioral datasets, and generating evidence-based insights to advance science at Oura. Grounded in a deep understanding of the scientific foundations of health, disease, and physiological processes, we push the boundaries of research to uncover novel biomarkers and health insights. Additionally, we are committed to translating behavioral science into actionable insights, empowering individuals to make informed decisions that improve their health and wellness. Our team ensures the scientific validity and clinical relevance of our products, playing a critical role in supporting product development, regulatory approval, and real-world applications. By collaborating with researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry partners, we bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and practical health solutions, enhancing the impact of wearable technology on global health and well-being.
