We’re looking for a Hardware Technical Program Manager to join our PMO team. 

What you will do:

  • Program Planning and Execution:
    • Work alongside the organisation to define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
    • Determine program schedule and capture all interdependencies between workstreams, focused on the overall critical path
    • Lead teams through our hardware development phases, leading gate reviews and preparing products for launch
    • Ensure product maturity and launch readiness throughout Prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT builds and validation
    • Be an advocate for program excellence, keeping the team focused on what is necessary to deliver on time and in scope
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact program timelines
    • Address conflict head on, actively working to overcome all adversity 
  • Communication:
    • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment with open communication to all stakeholders
    • Provide regular program status updates to senior management
    • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and monitor program budgets and expenses
    • Optimise resource allocation for maximum efficiency
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, utilising systems like Jira to keep everyone on track and moving in the same direction
    • Own the preparation of all program reports made public to each level of the company
    • Drive efficiency through systems both internally and externally with our CMs and vendors

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

    • 8-10+ years of experience leading complex hardware programs from concept through market delivery
    • Experience working with all engineering disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality
    • Experience with NPI manufacturing bring up
    • Post launch experience to sustain products over time.
    • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
    • A Drive for Results, willingness to learn and push the team to deliver on time and under budget
    • Have worked through complex Go To Market strategies including both retail and commercial deployment
    • A desire to learn new things and accept challenges
    • Comfort speaking to all audiences and the ability to adapt complex challenges into tangible solutions
