At Parkade, were transforming how parking works at private buildings to create a world with far less parking — one where every parking spot is available at the push of a button. Hundreds of existing customers love Parkade, and investors do, too; they just funded our Series A. Were now ready to get Parkade into every apartment, condo, and office building in the US, and to do that, we need you.
The Field Marketing Manager will join Parkade as the company’s second marketing hire. You will play a pivotal role in driving our brand’s visibility, fostering community relationships, and ultimately driving revenue growth. You will own and execute a quarterly event calendar and attend events across North America, working closely with our rapidly growing Sales and Customer Success teams. Our ideal candidate has several years of field or event marketing experience, ideally in multifamily real estate or “property technology” (aka “proptech”).
Travel required:
You will be traveling roughly 20% of the time, 2-3 events per quarter.
Specifically, you’ll do:
Plan, execute and attend industry trade shows. You will own all logistical aspects of trade show-event planning including booth design and setup, shipping, swag, securing speaking slots, signing contracts, and planning related mini-events such as happy hours and prospect dinners
Orchestrate localized marketing initiatives that resonate with our Ideal Customer Profile. You will have creative liberty to come up with your own strategies –– if you think buying a box at a Warriors Game and inviting 20 multifamily asset managers in San Francisco will pay back the investment, you can run with your ideas!
Continuously identify new events and sponsorship opportunities with input from marketing and sales leaders, and meet regularly with multifamily customers to identify event “hotspots”
Manage event budgets, including cost allocation and vendor negotiations
Coordinate with the in-house creative team to ensure event displays and materials align with the Parkade brand
Collaborate with marketing to develop digital marketing campaigns pre- and post-event
Work closely with our sales team to plan and attend customer marketing events between trade shows. This may include organizing, marketing and traveling to include Parkade launch parties, ownership group trainings, and client dinners
Partner with demand gen and sales to develop a system for measuring results, and implement learnings for future events; this includes disseminating key learnings after every event to help inform demand gen campaigns
Ideally, you:
Have 4+ years of experience in field marketing / event marketing
Are able to travel up to 20% of the time (2-3 events per quarter)
Are passionate about networking and building relationships with prospects and customers
Have strong project management and logistics skills – industry tradeshows have many moving parts in particular, and you will juggle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously

Location:
We’re planning to hire to our San Francisco office; you will work closely with our Head of Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams who also work 2-3 days per week in our HQ.
Ideally, youre located in California — we are also open to stellar remote candidates throughout the United States, though the closer to SF or Long Beach, the better.
