Position Summary:
The Microsoft Programs Manager plays a significant role in growing revenue through ownership of program operations and strategies aligning to Pax8 business objectives. They effectively develop and execute strategic program plans that align with revenue and other company objectives to achieve programs targets. They also collaborate with other functions within the business to ensure operational alignment. The Program Manager oversees the overall success of the Microsoft Programs for both Pax8 and its partners. They serve as an external and an internal customer.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
Oversee the project management of all Microsoft Programs, drive program innovations, and develop program readiness to achieve business objectives for both partners and Pax8. (50%) Coordinate cross departmental collaboration to create and enhance Microsoft Programs and ensure close alignment with Go to Market, Academy, Finance, Marketing, and other department peers. (25%) Develop and continuously update a sustainable business plan for all program, using Microsoft templates and guidance from the Director of Microsoft Programs. (10%)
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and updates on all Microsoft Programs to the Senior Director of Microsoft Programs for use in MBRs and program-specific calls. (5%)
Manage the strategic relationship with the Microsoft Partner Development Managers and Microsoft Business Groups ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with Pax8’s business objectives. (5%)
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least four (4) years of experience in a program management role
- At least two (2) years of experience in Channel Sales, preferably IT Channel
- At least two (2) years of experience in Sales/Business Development
- Proven success in creating scalable business plans to drive the business, analyzing results, and making appropriate modifications to continually improve execution
- Ability to be highly organized to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Ability to engage cross-functionally to collaborate and coordinate multiple projects
- Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action
- Ability to design and deliver presentations in live, virtual, and/or hybrid virtual environments
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $110,000 to $135,000, or more depending on experience.
