Position Summary:
The Vendor Integrations Manager launches and manages key vendors in the Pax8 ecosystem. They serve as the primary owners between the vendors and Pax8 from an operational and process perspective. The Manager partners with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful, on-time launches of key projects. They provide the best possible experience for our partners, establish collaborative relationships with vendors, perform business requirements analysis, facilitate API integration, and manage platform and cross-functional readiness. They strategically bridge the business and technical worlds while maintaining operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manages key projects for existing vendors such as Microsoft and AWS; projects include operational process changes, API integration changes, new products, updated pricing, promotion management, cross-departmental training, etc.
- Onboards strategic new vendors, products, and programs into the Pax8 marketplace through the management of the launch project, vendor relationship, API integration, and order-to-cash process definition
- Partners with internal stakeholders across at least ten departments (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Support, Sales, Vendor Alliances) to drive vendor projects forward
- Writes and articulates clear feature requirements to Product Management and Software Engineers to meet project delivery goals
- Serves as a final escalation point for vendor operational issues or process questions
- Effectively communicates progress related to current vendor projects during weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and larger strategic business planning meetings (includes timelines, priority, and status on launch readiness)
- Suggests and implements vendor management process improvements through thoughtful prioritization and data-driven decisions
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least four (4) to six (6) years of previous work experience in project management, operations, business analysis, or vendor management
- At least two (2) years of previous meeting facilitation experience
- At least one (1) year previous experience with API integrations preferred
- Operational background in Microsoft, AWS, Google, or Adobe preferred
- Familiar with a wide range of project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira, Asana)
- Familiar with a wide range of product management and/or process methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Design Thinking)
- Ability to speak both business and technical languages
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from entry-level employees to C-Suite executives
- Highly organized with project management skills and capable of managing multiple projects at once while operating with a sense of urgency
- Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to cultivate innovation by creating new and better ways for the team to be successful
- Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations
- Ability to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Process improvement or project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CompTIA Project+) preferred
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $98,000 to $120,000 or more depending on experience.
