Location

North America, pacific time zone. This role is 100% remote. Our entire company works virtually, and often across time zones. Your home office is your work location. 


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience selling into mid-market and large enterprise organizations, with a proven track record of success in selling complex technology solutions; experience in Computer Vision preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and expanding customer relationships to new departments and c-suite.
  • Demonstrated success in customer and partner-facing roles and possess strong presentation skills.
  • Experience and demonstrable skill set in Challenger or Challenger-like sales methodology
  • High technical acumen, with demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate highly technical solutions to prospective clients.
  • Experience creating, developing, and communicating executive-level materials.
  • Experience quantifying business needs, developing metrics, and building business cases
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

The Job

Plainsight is growing quickly and we are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive, West to join our growing team. This role is a key hire and integral to building and executing the enterprise sales strategy in North America, and reports to the SVP, Sales. You must have a track record of success selling complex technology solutions directly and with partners to mid-market and large enterprises. 

Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial thinker - creative and energetic - who thrives in a startup environment, has an adaptable and curious mindset, possesses the ability to create urgency, and challenges the status quo in a way that leads our customers to excellent outcomes beyond their expectations. You will leverage direct and indirect sales channels by working with both customers and prospects, as well as with strategic, go-to-market partners. Your track record will be one of establishing relationships built on trust and customer outcomes. 


Responsibilities

  • Selling directly to new clients, you will drive revenue growth through ongoing pipeline development and deal-winning activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer and partner organizations, and develop customized solutions to address their pain points.
  • Conduct market research to identify and engage with potential customers and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our SDR and Partner teams to qualify and follow up on leads and opportunities.
  • Grow and convert pipeline from multiple sources, establishing reference customers in the process.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, including conducting product demonstrations and negotiating contracts.
  • Continually learn and stay up-to-date on Plainsight’s products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$158,000 + commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
