We are looking for a Global Director of Managed Services to help define and implement all aspects of our Managed Services Partner (MSP) strategy; from defining MSP offerings critical to Pure, creating compelling value proposition for MSPs and identifying key elements of the MSP go to market motion from program requirements and benefits, co-marketing of MSP offerings, field engagement models and KPIs for success. 

The Global Director is critical to enabling and supporting the growth and success of Pure’s Managed Services Partner ecosystem. Reporting to the AVP of Global Partner Strategy and Business Development, this role operates autonomously and delegates cross functionally to drive the operational execution of the Global Managed Services route to market. 

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Define value of Managed Services Partners to Pure’s go to market strategy
  • Define key Managed Services where Pure’s platform and subscription offerings offer a competitive advantage to MSPs and fill gaps in Pure’s offerings to customers
  • Work with key stakeholders within Pure from product, alliances, solutions and marketing to create compelling sales plays, financial models and value propositions for MSPs with a key focus on accelerating Pure’s subscription business within the MSP ecosystem
  • Own and manage the rollout of any new partner programs, pricing models and incentives for the MSP ecosystem both internally and externally
  • Work with key stakeholders in the global partner organization and sales leaders to identify target MSP partners for each service offering and develop a plan to get the MSP to adopt Pure’s as their storage platform of choice
  • Create reporting insights that will establish and define program success metrics that provide critical performance data into the effectiveness of our channel programs and incentives.
  • Solicit feedback from the Partner community both formally through partner surveys and informally with ongoing engagement, and internal stakeholders to inform a roadmap of change that supports business objectives

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • A bias for action and willingness to take a hands-on approach
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy - Experience in developing and executing GTM strategies for SaaS solutions, including product positioning, and deep understanding of an MSPs financial models, TCO analysis and how Pure’s subscription offers benefit the MSP
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure projects are on track at all times.
  • Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to delegate, driving results through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated experience in partner program execution, management and adoption
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions; effectively navigating with complexity and change
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-growth environment
  • BS/BA required.MBA preferred
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $200K – $320K. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
