Job Description

As part of the Global Total Rewards team, the Sr Compensation Analyst is responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of QAD’s compensation programs. This individual will support the organization’s compensation philosophy by providing the necessary analytics and compensation metrics needed to support organizational objectives. The Compensation Analyst will also play a key role in ensuring that compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.  This position will report to the Director of Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

  • Advises Business HR, Talent Acquisition, and Managers on compensation matters including but not limited to policies, procedures, philosophy, internal and external market positioning, job evaluations, and other aspects of compensation to ensure global functions are able to effectively recruit and retain top talent.
  • Manages the annual merit process in Workday through planning and execution
  • Leads the participation in salary surveys through the collection and reporting of data to third-party survey providers.Design and build analytics including - dashboards, scorecards, and reports that measure people programs, offerings, and processes that allow us to have deeper insights and measurements.
  • Perform proactive data analytics to support various compensation assessment initiatives and provide recommendations to HR and business leadership.
  • Proactively suggests improvement and enhancements to current compensation programs, policies, and processes for both immediate needs and long-term objectives.
  • Resolves day-to-day tactical compensation issues within the global functions.
  • Research annual market movement and economic projections to assist with the development of guardrails for the annual compensation review process. Analyzes overall spend from the previous year and document key themes and pertinent points for consideration.
  • Own compensation data management and ad-hoc data analysis.
  • Partner with People Services and Digital HR in ensuring the accuracy of data and seamless integration of systems with analytical needs

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years proven compensation management experience with a strong demonstration of compensation practices
  • Ideally, experience using Workday, including advanced compensation, analytics, dashboards, and reporting. 
  • 4+ years experience in People / HR Analytics with a focus on data analysis, data visualization, and data modeling of human resources and compensation data.
  • Previous experience driving the annual compensation processes required, ideally in a global or multi-regional environment
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex results

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability  

  • An ability to shift between high-level consultative work and analytical and operational work.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects (highly organized), Project management skills. 
  • Detail oriented personality
  • Knowledge of Google suite of products, including Google sheets 
  • Extreme attention to detail with a focus on data quality, data consistency, and criticality of compensation metrics
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or related certification a plus
