Job Description

As a Services Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and closing new services business, assisting the sales rep in closing cloud/license deals, maintaining relationships with clients in the region and monitoring the performance of projects in the region. Responsible for maintaining relationships with customer
executives and supporting future customer services related needs. Understand customer challenges and provide recommendations and insights to help meet customer’s goals. Able to explain the implementation process and build customer confidence in the proposed solution. Calculate cost, timeline, and risk analysis for the implementation project.

Supports and develops “Materials” – Business Messages – Presentations – White Papers in line for supporting
Business Services deals.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the regional sales organization to position solutions and services as part of the sales cycle with prospective and existing clients. Activities include presentations of QAD services capabilities and specific services solutions to clients, workshops and discovery sessions to determine client requirements, development and presentation of proposals to clients and negotiation of terms and conditions. For large opportunities ($300K or more) conduct deal review prior to submitting estimates to customer.
  • Responsible for Proposals and Statement of Work including details like project scope, assumptions and estimate.
  • Maintain relationships and communication with the client install base within the region. Ensure clients view QAD services as a trusted advisor and provider of choice. Develop new and continuing business within client install base using territory planning, prospecting, qualification, client engagement, handling objections and close/win plan.
  • Coordinate with Services Hub to get support for development of statement of work, work orders, accurate data update in CRM system for opportunities. For large opportunities, conduct a services handover meeting with the Project team and provide documents and details related to the opportunity
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s in business, supply chain, or computer science
  • English C1/ Fluent/ Conversational
  • Product expertise is a most, Implementation experience and project management experience. 
  • Product Experience: Supply Chain – Forecasting / Distribution / Production / S&OP etc. – Plannig Solutions, Advanced Scheduling.
  • Related software experience – QAD DSCP(DynaSys), SAP (APO / IBP), Kinaxis, Logility, Futur Master, Blue Yonder (Manugistics / I2) or equivalent.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Google Suite, nice to have Salesforce.
