About the Role
The Tech Lead is a hands-on Professional Services leader responsible for ensuring project success by driving execution, managing risk, and fostering collaboration and appropriate delegation across all stakeholders. You will act as the Professional Services lead and operational owner of projects, ensuring the team is fully aligned, risks are proactively reported and mitigated, and clients receive an exceptional experience.

Requirements:
Strong Technical experience in the following:
- Operating System: Linux x86 (Intel/AMD) / Windows
- Container Orchestration:
- Kubernetes
- OpenShift
- Kubernetes deployments using self-hosted Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Azure Kubernetes Service, or Google Kubernetes Engine
- Helm - Kubernetes Package Manager
- Oracle RDBMS -including AWS RDS for Oracle -.
- Microsoft SQL Server -including Managed SQL Server services on Azure and Google Cloud SQL-.
- Redis -deployed via Amazon ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis, or Google Cloud Memorystore-.

- Kafka
- IBM MQ -both binary distribution and Cloud distribution-.

Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of project execution from a Professional Services standpoint, ensuring alignment between clients, delivery teams, and project managers.
- Act as the hands-on leader across engagements, ensuring that scope, planning, priorities, and changes are clearly understood and managed by all involved parties.
- Proactively monitor and align resources to ensure teams are fully prepared to execute project activities efficiently.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration between the client and Project Managers to maintain a strong, jointly owned project plan that reflects evolving needs and priorities.
- Ensure that the client’s expectations, standards, and ways of working are fully understood and integrated into project execution.
- Work closely with other Professional Services Managers and Leaders to make strategic resourcing decisions, ensuring the right expertise is allocated to each project.
- Serve as an escalation point for clients, minimizing risk and handling escalations with professionalism and precision when needed.
- Actively listen to clients, ensuring their feedback translates into actionable improvements in project delivery.
- Partner with the client to anticipate and resolve potential challenges, preventing escalations before they arise.
- Maintain full visibility into all engagements, proactively identifying risks and issues before they impact project success.
- Develop and execute mitigation plans for project risks, working closely with PMs, PS Managers, and leadership.
- Regularly report project risks and issues, ensuring transparency and alignment on solutions.
- Assist Project Managers in meeting PMO standards and ensuring governance is followed throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Own and drive solution design, ensuring adherence to both technical and business objectives.
- Provide hands-on mentorship to delivery consultants, guiding them on best practices and optimal execution strategies.
- Lead efforts to train Professional Services teams and relevant third parties on the product and related technologies (Cloud).
- Develop and deliver high-impact training programs to ensure a consistent level of technical excellence across teams.
- Drive lessons-learned initiatives to refine and improve delivery methodologies continuously.
- Lead the development of standardized execution frameworks to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Work closely with PS Managers and other Leaders to ensure effective and balanced capacity planning and resource utilization.
- Leverage and enhance tracking artifacts to monitor delivery execution, resource allocation, and risk management efforts.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $113,100 – 150,700 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Illinois: $107,900 - $143,900 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland: $107,900 - $143,900 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington DC: $118,200 -157,500 USD
