Senior Consultant, Client Reporting Specialist

The Client Reporting Specialist role is part of the Customer Experience Back Office Consulting team at Ridgeline. This position will focus on mastering Ridgeline’s Client Reporting solution, with an emphasis on Logi Report Designer tool and Ridgeline data sets. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside additional CX consultants on Ridgeline’s most complex implementations to develop a deep understanding of the platform and establish yourself as the organization’s expert in Logi. From there, you’ll focus on expanding our standard client report catalog, collaborating closely with product and development teams to address specialized reporting needs.
Beyond technical expertise, you’ll play a key role in knowledge sharing by developing training materials to enable others within the organization to create and update Logi reports. As you grow into the role, you’ll take on strategic responsibilities, such as providing guidance and tactical direction on personnel and team development, promoting innovation, and improving processes.
What will you do?
- Guide complex client reporting implementations, addressing nuanced needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Become the in-house expert on Ridgeline’s Client Reporting solution, with a focus on Logi.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to enhance and expand the standard client report catalog.
- Build specialized reports for our most unique and complex implementations.
- Develop and deliver training materials to empower team members to create and maintain client reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and scalable solutions to enhance the client reporting function.
- Opportunity to grow into a leadership role with expanded responsibilities, including provide strategic oversight and mentorship to partners and support internal hiring and team development as needed
- Contribute to the strategic growth and innovation of Ridgeline’s reporting capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or related field of study
- 7+ years of experience in the investment management or fintech space; specific experience with investment reporting solutions preferred
- Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, including product and development.
- Innate curiosity and proven ability to learn new software technologies quickly
- Highly organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a hands-on approach
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in an evolving, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, concisely, and confidently
- Familiarity with Google Apps and/or the MS Office suite, including strong Excel proficiency
- Serious interest in having fun at work
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with paginated reporting tools is highly desirable, particularly with platforms such as SSRS Report Builder, Crystal Reports, Logi, or other similar solutions
- Familiarity with tools like Tableau, PowerBI and other reporting frameworks tailored for creating detailed, formatted reports is also beneficial.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, particularly in the context of client reporting for asset management. This includes experience with client statements and portfolio-level reports such as holdings, transaction summaries, and performance reports. Knowledge of industry practices for generating and distributing detailed, data-rich reports to clients is highly valued.
- Experience guiding teams or managing direct reports.
- Understanding of Agile principles and software development lifecycles
- Comfortable working with Slack, JIRA/Confluence, and professional services applications such as Kantata
- Basic understanding of AWS, APIs, and serverless technology
- Advanced designations such as CFA, CAIA, or CIPM.

Compensation and Benefits
The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $115,000 to $150,000 OTE. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
