Technical Leadership-T3Job Description:
Project Voyager aims to design and implement a comprehensive business solutions strategy to address the full spectrum of the sales planning process.
This includes leading the transformation of existing early-stage sales planning systems—such as top-down and bottom-up planning, field forecasting, sales iterative models, and sources of growth models—by re-platforming these systems to better align with current and future business needs. Additionally, the project will focus on the replacement of the current TPM system with an alternative trade ecosystem. This initiative will involve selecting, building, and deploying a range of business-facing systems that support seamless sales planning and enhance overall business operations.
We are seeking a Data Strategy and Governance Manager to lead and shape our data strategy across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and managing data requirements, ensuring seamless data integration across systems, and overseeing data governance to maintain the highest standards of data quality and compliance. You will enhance our business intelligence capabilities and drive value through advanced analytics by developing a comprehensive reporting framework to support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will serve as a key data translator, effectively translating business requirements into actionable reporting needs and capabilities to empower stakeholders across the organization.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data strategy, data governance, and business intelligence roles, with a strong track record of driving data initiatives in large organizations.
- Solid understanding of data management, integration, and reporting frameworks, as well as best practices for maintaining data quality and compliance.
- Expertise in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to manage complex data challenges and identify strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale data projects.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Data Strategy Development: Define and execute the organization’s data strategy, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring that data is used as a strategic asset to drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Data Governance: Oversee data governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations. Implement best practices for data management and ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Data Integration: Manage and facilitate seamless data integration across various systems, ensuring that data flows smoothly and is accessible for business stakeholders. Identify opportunities for system improvements and integrations.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting Framework: Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting framework that enables data-driven decision-making across the organization. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals.
- Advanced Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights from data, providing the organization with a deeper understanding of key business drivers. Support the business in identifying trends, forecasting, and making data-backed decisions.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business leaders, to understand data needs, ensure alignment, and provide ongoing support for data initiatives.
- Training & Enablement: Promote data literacy across the organization by developing training materials and offering guidance to teams in utilizing business intelligence tools and data resources effectively.
