Job Description:
The Regional NA Capability Expert - MSM works with NA BTO team members, COE team members, and business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements related to Material Supply Management, including short to mid-term material planning, into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed. The Regional NA Capability Expert - MSM is an active thought partner and solution visionary who shapes capability demand among the business community.
What are we looking for?
Deep knowledge of E2E Planning processes, particularly in Commercial Ops/ strategic MSM (mid-term 4-39 periods) and short-term materials planning (2-12 week horizon).
Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions
Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
Has APS and other System Implementation experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with regional users and business leaders to define functional requirements for the APS implementation, specifically related to MSM and materials planning, ensuring it aligns with newly developing regional needs.
Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for regional stakeholders regarding the MRP portion of APS implementation. Foster clear communication and collaboration between regional users (particularly in Supply Chain and Commercial), business leaders, and the central project team.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks specific to the regional deployment of the APS system.
Process Mapping and Analysis: Work with regional stakeholders to map out current MRP processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive opportunities for improvement with the new APS design.
Change Management: Support change management initiatives by educating regional users on the new APS system, its functionalities, and the benefits it provides.
Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support system testing and UAT to identify and address any regional-specific issues with the APS configuration, as it relates to MSM/material planning.
Configuration and Customization: Work with the project team to configure the APS to meet your regions specific planning processes and workflows. This could involve defining regional parameters, data mapping, and report customization needed for effective MSM execution on the short and mid-term within the business.
Regional Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to the needs of your regional MRP end-users. This could involve hands-on training on the APS functionalities and best practices.
Data Migration and Cleansing: Collaborate with the data migration team to ensure accurate and clean regional data is migrated to the new APS system, as well as the tie-in of any information coming from external systems and data sources needed to support the MRP module.
End-User Support: Provide ongoing support to regional users after go-live, addressing their questions and troubleshooting any system issues within the regional context.
Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze regional planning processes using the new APS. Identify opportunities for further optimization and work with the project team to implement improvements.
Knowledge Sharing: Document and share best practices learned during the implementation with other regions or departments for future reference.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibitility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employees work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
