Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the National Professional Standards Group’s Curriculum Team as the Non-Technical Curriculum Owner for the Assurance practice. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning and development, has a strong understanding of the needs of the auditing profession, and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. The Curriculum Owner will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing non-technical learning programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our auditors. This role will sit 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive non-technical learning strategy for auditors, focusing on areas such as leadership, communication, time management and presentation skills.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive initial and ongoing instructor development strategy to foster a robust pipeline of talented instructors.
  • Collaborate with the National Talent Development & Management (TDM) Group to ensure alignment with overall learning objectives and initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of non-technical training programs, workshops, and resources, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and effective.
  • Work closely with audit leaders and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop tailored solutions that address those needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of non-technical learning programs, using feedback and data to make continuous improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate new ideas and approaches into the learning strategy.
  • Lead learning professionals, typically rotators, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on non-technical skills, curriculum development and instructor development.
  • Strong understanding of the auditing profession and the unique learning needs of auditors.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US, although cities with an RSM office are preferred.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $114,400 - $229,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
