Raytheon Digital Technology has a new exciting opportunity with locations at Andover, MA or Farmington, CT.  We are seeking a proven, high performing administrative professional to fill a key Executive Assistant role.  This non-exempt role will support the Senior Director of Strategy & Digital Program Office.  In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with other Executive Assistants and business leaders to understand and execute business priorities in a proactive manner.  The ability to build relationships, exercise good judgment and work across the Raytheon matrix is critical.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of how the Executive Assistant role can support business operations performance. The role will also support other digital technology leaders as required.  

The Executive Assistant will support all daily business administrative and coordination responsibilities, including preparation of presentations and reports, arranging meetings and events, tracking expenses and arranging travel, management of calendar, interfacing with external partners, and performing special projects as required.   They will manage communications and perform other administrative and organizing tasks as necessary to promote effective and efficient operation of the organization. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand the workflow of the organization and add value by being able to prioritize meeting requests and respond to virtual communication to include email, phone and video on behalf of the digital technology leader.  The Executive Assistant is responsible for the administrative management as well as providing support to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) staff in collaboration with other administrative assistants.   

What You Will Do

  • Attend calls and meetings; capture actions and maintain action list to ensure follow up
  • Coordinate materials prior to meetings and ensure pre-briefs are set up prior to, when appropriate
  • Proactively identify ways to enable greater productivity and efficiency in role
  • Generate charts, tables, memoranda, reports, correspondence and other materials with speed and accuracy
  • Coordinate domestic/complex international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
  • Coordinate and host customer and supplier visits and employee engagement meetings
  • Calendar Management
  • Establish follow-up system to ensure deadlines are met  
  • Coordinate monthly reports and as needed
  • Assist in directing work, assigning and outlining tasks
  • Handle complex paperwork related to ITAR and security clearance requirements
  • Establish detailed knowledge of the IDS and Raytheon Leadership Team members and locations
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as required: 1-2 days a week in the office, 10% travel

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with multi calendar management, meeting scheduling and coordination, planning events, expense reports, and data reports.
  • Experience with Productivity tools including Microsoft office suite tools (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel), SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
  • Experience planning and coordinating complex travel, domestic and/or internationally.
  • Experience handling confidential and non-routine information.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience providing complex administrative support for multiple senior leaders, specifically Digital/IT senior leader is a plus.
  • Experience handling multiple tasks concurrently and making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Raytheons business, Policies and Procedures (Business Travel, Business Courtesies, etc.)
  • Experience with: Integrated Contracts Management Systems (ICMS), APEX Time Recording, Expense Reporting Systems, Internet search engines and map/direction utilities 
  • Experience with Raytheon visitor request/registration systems

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
