Pratt and Whitney is looking for a motivated Senior Manager of Mature Commercial Engines Spare Part FP&A (IAE AG V2500 Focus) to join our team.
The position will be a hybrid position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
The Senior Manager of Mature Commercial Engines Spare Part FP&A (IAE AG V2500 Focus) will be responsible for forecasting, analysis, reporting, and support of strategic initiatives around a multi-billion dollar spare part sales portfolio of annual revenue.
The candidate will lead a team including 2 analysts and oversee the pricing catalogue updates, and work cross functionally with Program Finance, Warranty, Operations, IAE AG Partners, any many other functions within Commercial Engines to meet Pratt & Whitney’s financial and operational goals. Pratt & Whitney and its customers rely heavily on MCE spares which makes this a challenging and fulfilling role with great visibility to senior leadership and opportunities to learn and grow!
In this position, you would be responsible for all aspects related to forecasting, analysis, and reporting for V2500 spare part sales, including:
- Developing monthly/quarterly/annual financial metrics and forecasts for P&W, including key analysis of drivers, assumptions, and R&O’s.
- Supporting long-range and annual operating plan processes, including monthly forecasts, actuals analysis, and long-range planning for sales and margin targets.
- Working cross functionally and with customers and partners to drive initiatives and issues to a close.
- Providing recommendations to senior leadership through disciplined analysis.
- Participating in strategic business projects related to spare part sales sales, margin, catalog escalation and pricing, and inventory.
- Providing guidance to business unit planning organizations.
- Supporting various leadership-level presentations (P&W, RTX, BoD).
- Supporting audit requirements from Price Waterhouse Coopers and maintaining a strong controls environment.
- A variety of ad-hoc initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree role with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a Finance or Accounting role; OR a Masters or MBA with at least 7 years of relevant experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite [Excel, PowerPoint, Word].
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in FP&A.
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney financial systems [SAP, Business Warehouse, OneStream, HFM].
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
