Salesforce, Inc. seeks Senior Manager, Software Engineering in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Code primarily in Java for back-end development. Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements. Resolve technical issues in existing applications. Analyze, design, and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Collaborate with product owners, other developers, and management to design and develop highly useful, high-quality software. Lead the design and architecture of highly reliable and scalable products. Mentor other software engineers in development technologies, tools and processes. Provide troubleshooting support for customer issues and keep services operational and available. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May relocate to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Network, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or one (1) year of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Network, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) Database management systems; (4) CSS; (5) JSP; (6) Web application development; (7) Data Structures; (8) Algorithms; (9) Object-oriented programming; and (10) Search Engines and web-mining. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May relocate to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.
Salary: $237,120.00 - $280,000.00 per annum.
