Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a boundary-pushing, strategically minded Interactive Producer to lead the creation of new entertainment formats that blend storytelling with interactivity—unlocking entirely new ways to experience content on Samsung TV Plus. You’ll be at the forefront of defining what interactive entertainment means on the world’s most widely distributed TV platform, creating prototypes and partnering with third-party studios, production companies, and creative agencies to bring never-before-seen formats to life.
From interactive shows to ambient content channels with layered interactivity, your work will shape the next wave of lean-back and lean-forward experiences. You’ll also play a key role in shaping monetizable experiences designed for brand sponsorship and partnership opportunities, ensuring that what you build is as viable as it is visionary.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Concept, develop, and produce new interactive entertainment formats—ranging from interactive shows to layered ambient experiences—for Samsung TV Plus.
Partner with external creative studios, producers, and agencies to bring experimental ideas to prototype and production.
Drive the creative and technical vision for interactive content, ensuring experiences are both entertaining and technically sound across connected TVs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and design to explore implementation paths and platform capabilities.
Develop interactive experiences with monetization and sponsorship in mind, making them compelling for both users and brand partners.
Push the boundaries of whats possible with interactive video, branching narratives, and reactive storytelling—sometimes helping to define standards where none currently exist.
Lead projects from concept through launch, ensuring that every experience fits within Samsung’s broader content and consumer engagement strategy.
Qualifications & Skills:
8+ years experience in interactive content production, creative technology, or digital storytelling, ideally with a background working with streaming platforms or connected TV environments.
Deep understanding of interactive entertainment, video tech, branching narratives, and audience engagement strategies.
Experience managing external creative partners and driving end-to-end production workflows.
Strong familiarity with connected TV platforms, streaming distribution, and an interest in evolving technical standards in interactive media.
Ability to think strategically about content monetization and partnership models—especially branded or sponsorable experiences.
Highly creative with a self-starter mindset and the ability to define and drive a new content category from scratch.
Skills and Qualifications
Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY is expected to be between $180,000 and $215,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
