Position Summary
Summary:The Sales PMO Specialist is responsible for project management and administrative support to the Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a background in consulting, preferably with some exposure to learning and development/training projects and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Set, own, and deliver sales project management across several high-priority initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to,
Planning, scheduling, and tracking projects
Manage project budgets and timelines
Identify and mitigate project risks
Develop and maintain project documentation (notes, Confluence pages, etc)
Setting up meetings, booking rooms, and own notes and action item distribution
Coordinate travel arrangements for the Sales team as it pertains to his/her projects (for example, leadership offsites, sales summits, etc)
- Partner cross-functionally with day-to-day and senior stakeholders
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Integrate work and updates provided by partners into overall reporting
- Own senior reporting and analysis on projects
Prepare and deliver project reports to stakeholders
Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including preparing presentations, reports, and communications
- Sample projects may include
Managing the overall Sales team calendar and ensuring early execution against goals (e.g. Upfronts/Newfronts, Sales Industry Events, etc)
Supporting distribution, review, and submission of Annual Business Plans
Running short-term and long-term business implementation projects
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a consulting environment
- Excellence in slideware and executive communications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, and project management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, etc.)
- PMP or similar certification is preferred
- Experience in training or Learning and Development projects is preferred
- Comfortable working on a project-by-project basis, with multiple initiatives live at the same time
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years advising sales, media, marketing, or consulting clients on PMO-related work
- Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, slideware)
- Enjoys working cross-functionally with various teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, etc.)
- Enjoys owning outcomes and seeing projects through from end to end
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- Passion for sales and a commitment to customer satisfaction

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY, is expected to be between $110,000 ~ $130,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
