Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager for a portfolio of Samsung mobile apps/services for Galaxy devices including Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung Galaxy Store, and Samsung News. In this role you will partner with the Director of Mobile Services to develop product positioning, go-to-market plans and execute across a variety of growth and lifecycle marketing campaigns, paid, partnership programs, social media and industry events across B2C and B2B programs. As a key member of the cross-functional team, your impact will be felt across our Services business, driving increased awareness, user growth, engagement and conversion metrics for our owned and operated apps, as well as key strategic partner initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Mobile Services.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage go-to-market strategy and planning for Samsung’s North America mobile apps/services.
  • Develop product positioning and related messaging, campaigns, lifecycle comms, social media content, partner programs, community events, and other marketing initiatives on and off-platform to achieve our business goals.
  • Act as a domain expert by conducting regular competitive analysis and tracking industry trends to then deliver informed recommendations and opportunities for Samsung’s products and marketing expansion.
  • Collaborate with priority partners, publishers and NASB Partnership leads to define and deliver co-marketing programs that help achieve our apps/services growth goals and also support top partner titles, apps and offers on our platforms.
  • Brief and manage external agencies and internal creative teams to ensure strategic alignment and timely delivery of creative assets and integrated campaigns.
  • Measure, report on and optimize the impact of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Product, BD/Partnerships, Creative and other teams in NA and Korean HQ to ensure our go-to-market planning and execution is seamlessly integrated – including presentations, reporting and ongoing planning alignment.

  • 8+ years of experience as a seasoned Product Marketer in mobile marketing and/or technology, with at least 3 years leading day-to-day marketing execution for a consumer mobile app/service.
  • Passionate about media, entertainment and gaming and interested in how new technology innovations will shape the future of content experiences, business models, and communities.
  • Comfortable operating independently as the Product Marketing point person with lean resources and also partnering with shared resource leads when needed to drive business success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Deep experience leading campaign development from briefing to integrated execution, including online video, digital and mobile ads, paid acquisition, social media, web, comms initiatives, partnerships and event activations.
  • Skilled in managing and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs in Braze or similar CRM platforms, including email, push notifications, and multi-channel automations.
  • Experience working with data analysts to measure, analyze, and report the impact and attribution of marketing initiatives, including top of funnel awareness, user acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Proven success partnering closely with Product, UX, and Research teams to identify the needs of target audiences, gaps in our current product offerings and action on those insights to develop marketing strategies to help meet those needs.
  • Experience working with BD to drive B2B programs forward, including pitch decks, training materials and key partnership opportunities.
  • Excellent communicator, excels in orchestrating and clearly articulating go-to-market plans, providing timely updates to execs and motivating and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where you may need to rapidly evolve plans as business priorities change.
  • Excels as both a strategic leader and flawless tactician where required across product and marcom initiatives.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on driving measurable business impact.

Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY is expected to be between: $180,000 ~$205,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
