Role

We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing who is creative and excels at storytelling. If you dig into user insights and your mind starts racing with website messaging possibilities, campaign ideas and copy experiments, we want to hear from you! We are so fortunate to be building something special at Scribe, alongside incredible users and talent. We’re looking for a special marketer to tell this story — and join us in doing the best work of your career. This is a truly unique opportunity to build out Scribe’s narrative, positioning, and messaging, from the ground up. Your fingerprints will be all over the experience that 3M+ users enjoy with Scribe. This role has two direct reports, and is based in San Francisco.

Outcomes

  • Conduct market research to enable the Product team to build high impact features by providing clarity about our users, their problems, their use cases, and their journey.
  • Develop and refine our user personas and define their customer journeys.
  • Define Scribe’s product positioning for our target market across our single user and multi-user plans.
  • Translate Scribe’s positioning into clear and compelling messaging that resonates with our target market at a functional and emotional level.
  • Ensure Scribe’s messaging turns into resonant website copy, social content, sales collateral, blog content and emails across the customer journeys.
  • Conduct competitive research to enable the User Acquisition (growth) team with competitor messaging and pricing and packaging suggestions.
  • Lead and measure product launches in close partnership with the Product team, User Acquisition team (growth), and Sales team.
  • Support go-to-market planning, execution and reporting including the development of channel and direct sales tools, sales training and enablement, marketing campaign assets, and customer adoption assets.

  • Track record of positioning both a self-serve and sales led motion.
  • Demonstrated success in crafting clear and emotionally resonant product messaging.
  • Experience driving product marketing initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup environment.
  • Experience crafting user journeys to guide users and create value.

Compensation

180k-225k USD base + equity

We consider several factors when determining compensation, including location, experience, and other job-related factors.
