Role Description:
We are looking for a smart, talented and experienced product marketing professional to lead our Core Platform, Application Development & Security product marketing team. Do you love working with product and sales leaders building the industry’s #1 enterprise AI platform? Are you comfortable marketing to developers and business buyers? Are you energized creating new product positioning and go-to-market programs? Are you constantly looking for ways to create content and present information in new and impactful ways? Do you have experience working with demand gen teams to create consistent pipeline? If so then this role is for you.
Key responsibilities include crafting impactful messaging, designing impactful campaigns, defining our web and event presence, as well as maintaining our platform’s leadership position within our analyst community. You will partner closely with global marketing, product management, sales, solution consulting and our ecosystem to position ServiceNow as the leader across multiple product categories, generate and accelerate pipeline and increase adoption. What you get to do in this role:
- Product Positioning and Messaging - Develop a compelling narrative and value proposition for ServiceNow’s Core Platform, Application Development and Security products and solutions. Monitor messaging performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Be the core platform expert and speaker at our keynotes, partner events and top customer meetings.
- Product Launches & Release Marketing - Align with the Platform Product Management team to drive product positioning for existing products and new launches. Partner with our Community team to drive excitement and awareness of our major quarterly releases.
- Demand Generation - Work with our internal demand gen teams to hone the strategy and marketing programs that drive demand. Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull.
- Marketing Programs - Partner with marketing teams to build high quality collateral (website, customer stories, demos, print, videos, etc.) that reflect the product positioning and showcases the vision and value proposition of our platform.
- Events - Manage our Core Platform & App Dev portfolio at key marketing events with content, speaker and messaging support.
- Press and Analysts Relations- Work closely with Analyst and Press Relations teams to ensure effective thought leadership and ongoing relevance in the market, including Gartner and Forrester engagements.
- Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Mentor and grow a team of top product marketing talent.
- Be the go-to evangelist to speak to the power of ServiceNow’s Core Platform, Application Development and Security differentiation at our events and to the press.
Qualifications
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
- 12+ years experience in product marketing/management/sales engineering
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software platforms, knowledge of AI a plus
- Experience managing, growing and mentoring teams through compassionate leadership
- Expert and strategic storyteller who can craft simple and memorable narratives
- Experience building public-facing presentations with high attention to detail for marketing events, sales organizations or executive presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions within Marketing, Product and Sales, building relationships to drive results.
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Up to 10% travel to support sales efforts and industry events.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $225,000-$405,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
