Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Iselin, NJ is $160,597.00-173,700.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Developing models/methods for evaluation of financial risks and financial performance; analyzing sensitivities to key risk factors and analyzing the portfolio’s capital structure to evaluate defined risk. Documenting policies that clearly define risk limitations, responsibilities, and reporting requirements. Developing and deploying training materials to educate the business/support functions on risk definitions, policies, reporting, and tool utilization. Providing advisory services relating to pricing/funding/debt structures. Managing risk data extraction process (including data quality and respective reporting), reviewing transactional pricing evaluations for accuracy and compliance to pricing/business policies, recurring reporting submissions, reconciliations, and system configurations. Coordinating internal R shiny app development and maintenance. Managing and improve pricing infrastructure and applications. Reporting development (backend and visualizations).
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 48 months of experience in the job offered or in a Data Analyst -related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Data Analyst -
related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Utilizing financial statistics and mathematics to conduct risk simulations including the Value at Risk model and Market Price Risk simulation;
- Working with Market Risk models;
- Analyzing and implementing changes in pricing methods and tools;
- Programming languages including R and Python to develop financial models;
- Working with databases and applying SQL for data management and analysis;
- Data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI for creating intuitive and compelling visual representations of financial data.
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
