Then come and join our global team as Intern (f/m/d) to support in the field of Computer Vision and Automation at Innovation Think Tank.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will support in research tasks for the field of sensing and adjacent fields for various healthcare applications
  • You will develop or improve computer vision software with relevant knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
  • You will develop or improve algorithms and applications for other types of sensor applications
  • You are involved in creating new use cases for predevelopment-level product ideas

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are currently successfully studying in the field of mechatronics, software engineering, computer science / technologies or any other related field, at least in the 4th bachelor or 1st master semester
  • You have broad knowledge in programming, sensor technologies and data analytics, in which you already gathered some work experience
  • You have experience in MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • You have experience with Computer Vision Packages: Familiarity with OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe, Numpy, etc. ensures practical experience with industry-standard tools
  • You worked with Sensors and Data Processing: Proficiency in working with various sensors (e.g., 2D and 3D cameras, RADAR, LiDAR, IMUs) including their setup, calibration, data acquisition, and processing
  • You are familiar with Software Development Tools and Practices: Proficiency in version control (Git), code review processes, and agile methodologies

  • You have strong communication and time management skills
  • You possess a deep curiosity and willingness to dive into new subject areas
  • Independence and a goal-oriented mindset are critical for managing tasks and achieving objectives
  • You have excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly
