Senior AI Developer

We are looking for a seasoned AI Developer with a deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and expertise in API development and data modeling. This position entails the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions for the DISW EDA portfolio, encompassing Board System, Verification, and Physical design feasibility and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in integrating LLM technologies with robust data frameworks to drive innovation and efficiency in AI-driven applications.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with SMEs , Product Management from EDA group on product adoption for GenAI based solutions
Design, develop, and deploy AI applications that leverage LLMs for tasks such as natural language understanding, question-answering, and contextual content generation
Create and maintain robust APIs in Python for AI service integration and data processing
Work with databases to model, store, and query complex connected data structures
Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines to process information from diverse sources
Document development processes, architecture, and APIs to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 5-8+ years of professional experience in software development including SDLC
- 3+ years of experience developing AI applications with large language models (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA, Anthropic Claude)
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks and applications
- Proficient in Python programming with extensive experience building and maintaining production-ready APIs ( FastAPI, Django , Flusk etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Vector Database (e.g. Chroma, Azure AI search) NoSQL Databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cosmos DB) including data modeling, query optimization, and application integration
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps practices
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment of AI models in production
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of DISW EDA portfolio
- Understanding of knowledge graphs and Graph Databases(e.g. Neo4j), and ontologies to structure and semantically integrate domain-specific knowledge, enhancing data interoperability.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security practices in AI applications
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and deployment of AI models in production.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
