We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Grid Software team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the new business field of Digital Twins for electrical grid operators, co-innovating the next generation of grid management software with customers and partners to integrate new products into the customer’s IT landscape.

This digital offering helps our clients manage the fast-paced energy transition that is occurring through new digital twin applications.

How you will make an impact:

The Solution Architect has a major role in customer-facing projects, acting as the technical and domain expert while driving customer satisfaction for electrical grid operators and their IT departments.

You understand your customer’s needs and provide solutions by combining commercial off-the-shelf products with customer-specific improvements, translating these additional requirements to our product organization and leading the discussions to optimize the product fit for the customer.

• You align with the roadmaps established by Product Management. Patterns and guidance that are developed by solution architects are an important input for standard product development.
• You drive the entire project lifecycle, focusing on functional and technical capabilities from bid phase to end-of-life for our software systems.
• You manage project requirements, lead workshops, and drive solutions through project documentation.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering with specialization in Power System Controls.
• Technical project management experience involving Spectrum Power or comparable Control Room products.
• You have knowledge of innovative IT infrastructure, IT security and network technologies, and Profound Knowledge to leverage IaaS and Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) to benefit our customers.
• Knowledge of utility specific standards (CIM, IEEE, IEC61850).
• Technical competence coupled with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple, effective manner for people from different cultures and at all levels of business.
• Superb communication skills in English
• You are flexible to travel 30-40% of the time as needed.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

The salary range for this position is $100,450 - $172,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
