We are looking for a skilled eLearning Training Coordinator to join Grid Software’s Power Technologies International (PTI) Academy group. You will drive the development, implementation, and evaluation of eLearning training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, outstanding video editing skills, and a creative approach to support marketing efforts and course creation.

This is a remote position based in our Schenectady NY office; relocation assistance is not available for this role.

You’ll make an impact as you:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft, develop, and update eLearning training materials and curriculum.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create interactive and visually appealing eLearning courses.
  • Edit and improve video content to build engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Develop marketing materials, including promotional videos, to increase awareness and participation in eLearning programs.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, set project timelines, and ensure timely delivery of training programs.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to upload, track, and maintain eLearning courses and learner records.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and functionality of eLearning courses.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of eLearning programs, collecting feedback from learners and making improvements as necessary.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in eLearning, instructional design, video editing, and marketing

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in instructional design and marketing.
  • 5 years of proficiency in video editing software and multimedia production tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality training materials.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the energy industry or power transmission and distribution is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting PTI training initiatives preferred.

  • The salary range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
