Siemens Digital Industries is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive for the Semiconductor Industry to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions. This Vertical group is a growing and dynamic team that delivers solutions, products, and services to the accounts you will serve.
The successful candidate will be able to pair industry knowledge with an advanced automation and digitalization centric portfolio of solutions, to drive sales, establish customer preference and to win specifications for Siemens in named national accounts in across the semiconductor customer base. In addition, the Account Executive will be tasked with identifying and developing new accounts. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for working in a matrix organization, coordination with other groups including portfolio specialists, engineering, and the global vertical market team to support the ecosystem in the most effective manner. The job will be measured on portfolio growth, customer pipeline development and new customer conversions. The position reports to the Head of Vertical Sales for Semiconductor in the United States.
We are looking for a Vertical Sales Enterprise Account Executive for Semiconductor. This position is remote, but must be based in the northeastern, US and may require travel within territory.
- Develop customer relationships, strategic account plans and be responsible for meeting sales revenue for the assigned accounts.
- Identify new customers in assigned region and establish an install base.
- Understand customer’s business processes, drivers and develop strategic account plan to support the digital transformation journey of the account.
- Build and maintain customer relationships on senior management level through extensive personal customer engagement.
- Build and lead collaboration with the semiconductor ecosystem by engaging with system integrators, OEMs, and EPCs to maximize support and portfolio coverage at the end customer.
- Build and lead collaboration with internal ecosystem consisting of Vertical Market, System Engineering, Business Unit SMEs, OEM, Partner, and Territory sales.
- Engage in industry association working groups, to develop domain expertise and represent Siemens as thought leader in the industry
- Closely Collaborate with Siemens DISW colleagues on the Digital Thread Offering.
- Provide transparency on account reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in Account Management or equivalent role representing a similar breadth of industrial portfolio products and solutions.
- 10+ years of experience and broad knowledge of the Industrial IT/OT and manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry.
- Excellent understanding of customers, markets, business operations and people.
- Customer relationship effectiveness and demonstrated ability to systematically drive an effective sales campaign.
- Strong executive presence and communications skills to engage with customers’ senior leaders.
- Proven track record of success in operating with multiple channels to market, including direct sales, distributors, system integrators, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset. Willing to take measured risk and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Successful experience with large account management.
- Semiconductor Experience – e.g., industry standards, IT/OT integration concepts, relevant digital applications
- Experience in system configuration and solution architecture
- Interest in new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and/or Edge

- The pay range for this position is $107,520 - $184,320 and the annual incentive is 45% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
