The role:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Business Manager to join our Member Rewards & Benefits team. This role will be instrumental in driving key initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and supporting data-driven decision making to enhance our member experience and business outcomes.

The Business Manager will help drive strategy, planning, cross-functional execution, and analysis of SoFi’s Member Benefits & Rewards programs. You will report to the Business Lead for Rewards and Benefits and will be a trusted partner for both internal and external stakeholders as the team develops and implements new Member benefits, including Member events, and continues to build out and manage our Member Rewards program. In this role, you will collaborate with many teams across SoFi. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic thinker who can work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges with uncertain inputs and outputs.

A typical week will likely be split between two main buckets: 1) execution and monitoring of ongoing Rewards and Benefits programs, including maintaining Rewards program functionality, partnerships with third parties, and ensuring member events run smoothly; 2) development and execution of new Rewards and Benefits concepts, including opportunities to partner with third parties to expand our offerings.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Business Lead for Member Benefits and Rewards to execute strategic initiatives, analyze program performance, and make recommendations to drive Rewards enrollment and engagement and Benefits business growth
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects and ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams as we launch new and maintain existing Member Benefits and Rewards programs
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Marketing teams to develop and maintain key performance metrics, produce actionable insights, and identify growth opportunities
  • Manage team OKRs, including tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Synthesize data and insights into clear, compelling presentations for senior leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing and business teams across SoFi to set the Member Events calendar and execute virtual and in person events as a part of our Member Benefits offering.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, investment banking, consulting, or similar roles
  • Experience working with fintech, financial services, consumer technology or loyalty programs
  • Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively both internally and with external partners
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment

Nice to have:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience with OKR frameworks and team performance management
