Finance Systems Analyst Accounting

As the Finance Systems Analyst, you will be an integral leader of the Corporate Accounting team and will be challenged to think outside the box to seek solutions and drive process improvements. You will partner closely with Finance and Accounting Leadership as well as IT leadership to manage the ERP system, particularly as they relate to financial management, reporting, and compliance. This includes proficiency in configuring, implementing, and maintaining ERP modules related to financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and financial reporting. Strong financial analysis skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), budgeting processes, and financial controls are essential.

· Manage accounting and financial team responsibilities relating to ERP/reporting efforts

· Month End/Quarter End reporting creation/support from ERP and reporting solutions

· Manage segregation of duties across accounting and finance team via roles and responsibilities definition

· Support clean up of master data records as well as process (customers, suppliers, GL values)

· SME and Business liaison for STG finance and accounting communicating with ERP

· Support innovation and process improvements by collaborating with end users to understand needs that can be solved through utilizing existing software solutions

· Designs and implements functional enhancements to financial systems with moderate supervision of management to support user needs

· Identifies opportunities for functional improvements and enhancements to maximize the effectiveness of available technology.

· Act as a finance subject matter expert for system integration efforts, partnering with the technical systems team

· Develop and lead knowledge sharing and training efforts for finance and accounting teams
