Job Overview
The Account Executive, Public Safety Consultant is a dynamic sales professional dedicated to supporting and growing accounts in the Public Safety sector, specifically serving First Responders. Leveraging your industry experience, you will drive sales, renew contracts, enhance customer satisfaction, and boost revenue while ensuring customer retention. Performance is measured by meeting sales targets and maintaining high job performance through various metrics, all in line with T-Mobiles core values. Key responsibilities include generating sales opportunities, managing customer accounts, performing data entry and analysis, participating in continuous training, achieving productivity goals, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role is crucial in delivering Public Safety solutions and maintaining T-Mobiles high standards of service.

Job Responsibilities:
  • New Sales Activities: Utilizes contact lists to call leads to generate sales opportunities, exceed monthly sales, renewal and churn targets, welcome customers, review agreements, answer questions, and probe for additional business. Maintain monthly call goals.
  • Account Management: Build customer relationships, manage customer accounts, analyze for up-sell and renewals, resolve issues, and track activity/results.
  • Data Entry: Performs extensive data entry, system navigation, and utilization, including independent analysis and decision-making. Requires accuracy and efficiency.
  • Training: Engage in continuous training to maintain product and service knowledge, using automated systems and tools to deliver outstanding service to meet T-Mobile’s efficiency and quality standards.
  • Productivity Goals: Meet/exceed productivity and sales goals based on metrics. 10%
  • Professional Conduct: Demonstrate positive behavior, leadership, and high ethical standards.
  • Adjustments and Credits: Disburse adjustments and credits within established limits.
  • Team Support: Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Experience selling within the Public Safety vertical Required
  • 2-4 years Experience in the Public Safety industry Preferred
  • 2-4 years Demonstrated track record of sales success in business sales (B2B) Preferred
  • 2-4 years Experience in Wireless Industry/Telesales/Technical Sales Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • CRM and Microsoft Office Proficiency in using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage customer interactions and sales activities, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. (Required)
  • Customer Acquisition Proven ability to attract and secure new customers through various sales strategies. This includes identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, and converting leads into long-term customers. (Preferred)
  • Attention To Detail Attention to detail is crucial for accurate data entry, preparing sales reports, and documenting customer interactions, ensuring high service standards and compliance. (Required)
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for customer interactions, presenting solutions, and team collaboration. Clear and persuasive communication builds customer relationships and closes sales. (Required)
  • Presentations Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to potential and existing customers. This involves using visual aids and clear messaging to effectively convey the value of products and services. (Required)
  • Problem Solving Strong problem-solving skills are needed to address customer issues, find solutions to sales challenges, and improve processes. This includes critical thinking and the ability to make informed decisions quickly. (Required)
  • Sales Analysis Ability to analyze sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and develop strategies for growth using analytical tools and techniques. (Required)
  • Strong Industry Knowledge Deep understanding of the public safety sector, including the needs of law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services, to tailor solutions to their unique requirements. (Required)
  • Collaborative Teamwork Effective collaboration with General Account Executives (GAEs), Sales Engineers (SEs), Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Implementation Account Managers, and other stakeholders. This teamwork is essential for delivering comprehensive solutions and achieving sales goals. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $109,700 - $197,800, inclusive of target incentives
