About this Position

  • The Senior Analyst, Business and Product Delivery will manage moderately complex changes within Global Investment Operations (GIO) to enable new product launches, support client onboarding and requirements, implement industry and regulatory mandates, and/or advance strategic initiatives for the business.
  • The incumbent works with Global Product and Global Client Account Services to gain insight to the product roadmap and client pipeline and uses business knowledge and project management skills to coordinate implementations of these initiatives with stakeholders in Global Trading, Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Performance & Analysis, and Investment Compliance.
  • This position will also partner with technology teams as well as external service providers to design processes and solutions that meet the business requirements for new products and client operations.
  • This is a key enablement role within GIO that blends business analysis and project management skills to design or enhance end-to-end processes, liaising with the cross-functional teams above to gather and document requirements, understand challenges and constraints, and drive project teams to deliver on solutions.
  • Ideal candidate is positive, enjoys learning and problem solving, proactively asks questions, makes connections, anticipates challenges, and drives for results through active collaboration. The position provides broad exposure within GIO and to our internal clients.

Role Summary

Leads and controls moderately complex change management initiatives; that are either a stand-alone project or part of a complex change program. Change management initiatives include product launches or enhancements, changes in the firms services, enhancements to existing businesses, operational support enhancements, risk and security enhancement or changes driven by regulatory bodies. May perform change management for full projects or phases of projects. Incumbents are building breadth of knowledge on the firms products/services and are gaining exposure to more advanced client accounts and issues. Works mostly independently and may provide guidance to more junior Change Management colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and implements change management projects that involve advanced and varied information. Problem solves to overcome barriers to change. Is fully compliant with standard change process/implementation methods but able to adapt approach and demeanor to match shifting demands and situations. Contributes to the development of change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
  • Identifies and utilizes tools and templates to drive change management activities. Manages goals, risks, issues and resources and ensures change management standards are applied throughout each project. Reports on progress and recommends responses to identified issues.
  • Collects and analyses data to determine change impact, stakeholder needs, organizational readiness, etc. Translates results to construct effort-driven change management plans for assigned projects. May provide change management for full projects or workstreams within larger programs.
  • Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and ensure adoption of the change(s). May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries. Develops tools and training methods to enable successful project management throughout the enterprise. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards; recommends improvements and changes as necessary.
  • Solicits feedback from multiple stakeholder groups to identify risks and issues. Observes behavior to identify signs of change resistance and anticipate potential impediments and impacts. Monitors progress and escalates issues that will significantly impact change adoption to relevant parties. Assists more junior roles with issue resolution.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Prior Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Back Office experience
  • Prior experience with new product or capability development and implementation, process improvement, change management
  • Ability to assess and document business needs including systems, data, integration, workflows, output, and the economic impact of each
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and build positive relationships

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$94,500.00 - $161,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$103,000.00 - $177,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$117,000.00 - $201,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the roleBase salary is only one component of our total compensation packageEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
