About the Role:

As a Lead UX Operations Manager, you will help drive adoption, awareness, and experimentation of emerging tools and technologies within the UX organization. You’ll play a key role in operationalizing how UX collaborates across journeys and pyramid intersections by bringing GenAI into prioritization, pattern detection, opportunity framing, and storytelling that drives cross-functional collaboration and ways of working.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and UX leadership to build experimentation frameworks, scale best practices, and measure the impact of AI-driven efficiencies within design, research, and content practices. This role requires a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, emerging AI capabilities, and how the two intersect across customer journeys and experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead enablement and experimentation initiatives to integrate GenAI into UX workflows and journey-based strategy efforts, including opportunity mapping, prioritization, and storytelling

  • Operationalize AI-powered tools and methodologies across UX teams, ensuring practitioners have the right support systems, training, and governance to adopt GenAI responsibly in their day-to-day work

  • Manage pilot programs and synthesize learnings to inform scalable, repeatable best practices across UX

  • Define and track success metrics to evaluate GenAI’s impact on UX efficiency, decision-making, and overall practice quality

  • Establish UX-specific guidelines for AI-enhanced design, research, and content practices, including content generation, interaction models, and design system integration

  • Partner with L&D and UX leadership to deliver targeted training programs, workshops, and learning experiences that accelerate GenAI proficiency and practice maturity

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience in UX operations, design program management, or with inhouse or agency product design teams

  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence, using structured thinking, frameworks, and facilitation tools to bring clarity and align stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of modern UX Design tooling landscape (e.g., Figma, AI-generated research synthesis, AI-driven content automation, ChatGPT, CoPilot)

  • Highly data-driven and consistently leverage insights to guide decisions, shape strategy, and measure impact

  • Systems thinker experienced in connecting tools and operations to larger product strategy efforts, including journey mapping and cross-functional planning

  • Proven ability to drive change, operationalize and scale work across teams, and enable cross-functional adoption of tools and processes across Product, UX, and Engineering.

  • Exhibit a growth mindset and a passion for evolving your practice and the broader UX discipline
