Buyer / Global Supply Manager - Indirect Procurement EMEA

The EMEA Procurement team is responsible for selecting and buying all goods and services for Sales, Service Delivery, Manufacturing, Supercharging, Energy and Retail Development within EMEA. We utilize inhouse procurement tools and are always looking to create efficiencies and improve effectiveness. You will work with the centralized Sales, Service and Delivery teams, as well as local stakeholders across EMEA. Utilizing inhouse tools, you will request and evaluate quotes, negotiate prices, arrange sourcing & contracting and prepare business cases and strategies. Seeking cost reduction opportunities and enhancing Total Cost Optimisation (TCO).

This role would be based from our Amsterdam office in NL. This role would be a 12 month FTC initially. 


  • Analyse pricing and develop cost breakdowns ensuring the most cost-effective options are achieved.
  • Analyse historical and forecasted spends to target and prioritise the biggest opportunities.
  • Adhere to inhouse policies for sourcing requests, buyer planning and sourcing & contracting approvals by using inhouse developed procurement tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), ERP system and RFQ tool.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions, reviewing supply and demand challenges and opportunities.
  • Own and issue RFx’s from  identifying potential suppliers and economies of scale to contracting.
  • Review, analyse, negotiate and clarify supplier quotations.
  • Lead contract negotiations and the vendor selection process.
  • Maintain and develop supplier negotiations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Several years of experience in a strategic procurement role.
  • Data driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability of supplier & stakeholder relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing environment with high demand to flexibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written ability in English language,  and ideally another European language
