Global Trade & New Markets Internship (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated student to intern on our Global Trade & New Markets Team. Tesla’s Global Trade & New Markets Team supports all Import / Export Operations globally and is responsible for Teslas Trade Compliance policies, programs, applications, and tools, as well as due diligence in expanding our global footprint into New Markets. During the initial phase of the internship, the intern will rotate through the Global Trade & New Markets Team’s functional areas, such as Operations, Legal, Strategy, Programs, etc., to better understand the scope of the Team’s work, with the second phase focused on a specific Global Trade & New Market functional area. A capstone deliverable, such as a presentation, project, or work process will be presented at the completion of the internship, culminating the experiences gained and lessons learned.

- Engage with various internal functions across Tesla’s Global Trade & New Markets Team
- Bring “First Principle Thinking” to learn and drive operational efficiencies
- Partner internally to rethink established processes and systems to support new and evolving business models
- Act as a resource for researching Global Trade & New Markets questions internally
- Support Tesla’s mission to Accelerate the World’s Transition to Sustainable Energy through your performance and daily execution
- Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Preferably studying or experienced in a relevant field of logistics and trade / finance
- Good knowledge in the areas of moderation and training for the introduction of processes
- Exceptional analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience or Interest in systems implementation and enhancements
- An ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- A capacity to create written reports, proposals, processes, and presentations
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality results
