The Product team at UpGuard includes Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Support. Where does this role fit in?As our Product Management team has grown, we’ve identified an opportunity to add a Product Operations function to support it. The Product Operations Manager role is our first hire into this team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our product processes and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. You’ll analyze data to provide actionable insights to our Product Managers, drive our product roadmap processes, and own the tool stack used by the product team.

What will you do?

  • Collect and analyze product data to generate actionable insights for Product Managers.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track product performance and key metrics.
  • Serve as the liaison between the product team and other departments.
  • Ensure all teams have the necessary data and information to make informed decisions.
  • Manage the planning and execution of product roadmap processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align on priorities, goals, and timelines.
  • Manage and optimize the tools and platforms used by the product team.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline product processes.
  • Implement best practices to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members regarding product processes and tools.
  • Provide ongoing support to the product team on operational tasks.

What will you bring?

  • Strong knowledge and experience in product operations, product management, or a similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Matlab, Looker).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Productboard).
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • A Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
