A Brief Overview

The US LBM Senior Director Digital Product Management will play a key leadership role in defining, advancing, and optimizing US LBMs Digital Customer Experience (DCX) technology platform. This position will work closely with senior operations leaders, engineering, and key business stakeholders to develop and execute a digital product strategy to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the organization. This person will be responsible for building a high-performing product management team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to make US LBM a leader in Digital Customer Experience in the building products space.

What you will do

  • Define and drive a multi-year, multi-product technology product roadmap to help US LBM Sell the Whole Home including technology to support internal and external user customers.
  • Own driving the technology to the point of business impact, beyond just product deployment.
  • Advise Senior leadership on prioritization of new capabilities and opportunities for differentiation in the market.
  • Use data and high-quality business judgement to develop analytical insights that drive both strategy and tactics for implementation success for internal and external customers.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership with the engineering and business process teams for build-vs-buy strategies that balance scalability and creating long-term competitive advantage with cost effective solutions that deliver impact fast.
  • Work with partners in the operations, sales, engineering, business process and data analytics teams to get new products designed, built, deployed and optimized to deliver business impact.
  • Be an internal-public face of the Sell the Whole Home technology roadmap; clearly communicate the goals and objectives of the technology developed and provide communication and training materials that help a distributed organization, understand the need for both technology and change.
  • Build and lead a dynamic, high performing team.
  • Be a great business partner, focused on collaboration to drive results.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (MBA preferred) with 12+ years of experience in Digital Product Management or related leadership roles in complex, matrixed organizations.


Experience Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams, ideally in the building materials, supply chain, B2B distribution or related industries.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, digital product lifecycle management, technology build vs buy decision making, and customer-centric innovation.
  • Strong background in leveraging analytics to guide strategic decisions, with experience in data science a plus.

  • Ability to establish and lead digital transformation and drive technology product innovation to deliver operational efficiency.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and drive key strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on developing high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Advanced proficiency in leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to inform product features and business impact.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various functions.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, with the ability to manage high-level strategy while diving into the details when needed.
