About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Specialist to manage and support key aspects of our People team operations. This role ensures seamless administration of people data, employee experience initiatives, equity management, global mobility, and contingent workforce processes. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong organizational skills, a passion for process improvement, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to employees. This role is hybrid in our San Francisco office. 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Global Mobility: Strategically manage employee relocations and international assignments, proactively identifying potential challenges and optimizing processes for efficiency.
  • Visa & Immigration: Lead complex visa and immigration cases, ensuring full compliance while streamlining work authorization processes for faster execution.
  • Contingent Workforce Management: Drive process improvements in contingent workforce onboarding and offboarding, enhancing cross-team coordination for seamless integration.
  • People Data Management: Oversee data integrity in BambooHR, optimizing integrations across 20+ systems. Implement automation and audit frameworks to proactively resolve discrepancies and enhance data reliability.
  • Employee Help Desk: Act as a key strategic partner for employee support, leveraging data insights to identify trends and drive improvements in the employee experience.
  • Employee Swag & Recognition: Optimize end-to-end processes for swag, business cards, and employee recognition programs. Develop cost-effective strategies while maintaining high employee engagement.
  • Equity Administration: Own data compilation and process execution for the equity tracker, ensuring seamless monthly administration of PTEP, suspension of vesting schedules for employees on leave, and Carta termination workflows.
  • Ad Hoc Projects & Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance efficiency by leading cross-functional initiatives that promote operational excellence. Leverage automation tools (e.g., AI, Zapier) to minimize manual tasks and improve productivity.

 

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Global Mobility, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong expertise in visa & immigration processes, including global relocation support. Experience managing work authorizations and ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
  • Familiarity with HR systems like BambooHR/ADP, as well as integrations with other platforms.

  • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Implement proactive measures to ensure compliance with employment laws, data privacy regulations, and international labor policies.
  • Data & Insights for Leadership: Develop reporting dashboards and analytics to provide leadership with strategic insights on mobility, contingent workforce trends, and people operations efficiency.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000.00 - $165,000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
