We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bridge Engineer to help us with our growing workload of projects in our Transportation Business Unit. This position is responsible for leading and/or participating in engineering work related to structural aspects of transportation infrastructure projects.

This position can be located in our Dublin, OH office or any Midwest Regional office.

Responsibilities:

Managing bridge design projects and project teams
Apply diversified engineering principles and practices to our bridge engineering operations in Ohio
Preparing project documents and developing cost estimates
Design work, using MicroStation, as well as client-facing interactions with a potential for some business development and project manager responsibilities
Performing basic and complex engineering calculations, including construction quantities
Performing load ratings of bridges and other structures
Performing seismic analysis using 3D finite element modeling software
Checking calculations and designs produced by other team members
Collaborating with other engineers to identify the appropriate design criteria to perform minor, major, and complex bridge design and load rating assignments
Perform QA/QC on drawings from drafters, designers, and/or design engineers on project
Perform the duties of a Project Engineer, stamp/sign drawings or reports and/or serve as Engineer of Record for the project
