About the Role

Virta Health is seeking an exceptional Events & Community Operations Specialist to join our growing Events & Community team. This role requires a highly organized, operationally-minded, and creative individual who thrives on building processes, delivering exceptional experiences, and fostering connections across our remote-first organization.

You will assist in planning and executing company events (virtual and in-person), create engaging experiences, and help develop innovative solutions to streamline operations. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring that events are seamlessly executed, that processes are simplified and scalable, and that team members feel valued and cared for with a radical hospitality mindset.

This is a high-impact role for someone eager to grow, collaborate across departments, and contribute to building a culture of meaningful impact and connection.

This role is remote with frequent travel for in-person events.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination

Assist in planning and executing both virtual and in-person events, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences.
Help develop creative, memorable virtual experiences that help to engage remote team members.
Support logistical coordination for in person events, including venue sourcing, travel, catering, transportation, and on-site support.
Anticipate potential issues and troubleshoot in real time to deliver flawless experiences.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

Help create, update, and simplify processes to streamline event planning and community-building efforts.
Assist in building GPT (Generative AI) tools to support the Events & Community department and team members company-wide.
Maintain a centralized calendar for events, preventing conflicts and ensuring visibility across teams.
Manage event requests and approvals using scalable, user-friendly workflows.
Design and maintain templates and guides to standardize event processes for leaders and team members.

Creativity & Radical Hospitality

First and foremost, ensure all events reflect Virta’s mission and values, fostering a culture of connection and inclusion.
Infuse creativity and attention to detail into every aspect of event planning, from design to execution.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
