Overview of role

The Director of Demand Generation will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of all demand generation initiatives to drive qualified leads and revenue growth. This individual will work closely with the sales team to develop integrated campaigns that attract, engage, and convert target audiences across various channels.

What you will do

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives
  • Define target audience segments and identify the best channels and tactics to reach them
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns

Website Optimization:

  • Oversee SEO and conversion rate optimization programs (e.g. keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, A/B testing, User Journey Mapping, Form and CTA optimization) with external agency

Campaign Management and Content Marketing:

  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, content marketing, webinars, paid media, SEO, social media, etc.) including landing pages optimizations to drive leads
  • Manage the marketing automation platform and CRM to ensure seamless lead flow and accurate reporting
  • Oversee content development that creates compelling assets that drive lead generation

Lead Nurturing and Conversion:

  • Develop and optimize lead nurturing workflows and email campaigns to move leads through the funnel
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure leads are properly handed off and tracked
  • Implement ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies to target high-value accounts

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of demand generation campaigns and initiatives
  • Regularly reporting on website performance, highlighting successes, and identifying areas for further optimization
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaigns and website for better ROI
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation campaigns that drive revenue growth
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and lead generation strategies
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • MBA is a plus
