About the role:

The Group Director of Technical Program Management will oversee and implement strategic programs across the enterprise to align with business objectives. This role requires deep technical knowledge and cross-functional leadership to mentor teams, manage complex projects, and influence stakeholders. Specifically, this role will partner with the business, product and engineering to focus on enhancing our in-store, pickup and delivery experiences for customers and associates and evolving the future of merchandising, replenishment and suppliers.

What you will do:

  • Defines and implements program strategy impacting an entire domain.

  • Secures enterprise-wide commitment and address cross-pillar dependencies.

  • Drives clarity on business/technology problem statements and requirements and builds consensus with stakeholders, leaders, and executives. 

  • Advises and brokers agreement on end-to-end system/solution design of complex systems and validates complex problems through impact analysis.

  • Proactively checks for design flaws that may lead to outages and recommends alternatives to prevent impacts to customer experiences and business continuity. 

  • Identifies gaps/opportunities within or between services, tools, and workflows across the architectural landscape and recommends solutions. 

  • Establishes innovative approaches to manage delivery plans, and ensure quality outcomes.

  • Develops teams, tools, and methods to transform operations and effectiveness of teams.

  • Defines, owns and drives very complex, large-scale strategic programs/ portfolios and escalates issues to relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitors industry trends and leads futuristic conversations based on strong market research and technical judgment to define the future state of a domain as well as adjust to new risks and changing business needs. 

  • Builds, leads and mentors a high-performing team – tracking team productivity, defining prioritization, allocating resources, mentoring associates, and hiring the right talent.

Minimum Qualifications...
